I am attempting to make a dent in this rolling disaster of dog hair and dirt.

Oh you tease you.
Husky’s are quite long haired so shouldn’t take much to remove, just time consuming.
The plastics will need a good all purpose cleaner, medium to stuff brushes and plenty of microfibre cloths to remove the dirt, clean and then wipe down.
Looks like fun.

You’re removing R-
0.01 of insulation value :(

Here is a trick that I learned from a detailer . Get some rubber gloves (or nitrile gloves , if you have allergies). Wipe the cloth area briskly with your gloved hand while vacuuming. The static created by the rubber glove helps loosen the hair.

There is now a Pomeranian in my vacuum cleaner.

The brush worked great.
